The Role
We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong new business focus to join Kaorium. This role is first and foremost about hunting: identifying, opening, and closing new opportunities with fragrance brands and beauty retailers. You will be the engine of new revenue in the business.

As Kaorium grows and early partnerships mature into long-term customers, this role has the potential to evolve into a broader commercial position. For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to shape the sales function, take ownership of key accounts, and build a team around you.

What You Will Do
·        Proactively identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities within fragrance and beauty.

·        Own the full new business sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, meetings, pitching, negotiation, and close.

·        Build relationships with decision-makers at brands and retailers, positioning Kaorium as a strategic partner.

·        Present Kaorium’s technology confidently in person and online, tailoring the pitch to each prospect.

·        Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to manage pipeline, track activity, and drive momentum.

·        Work closely with operations and customer success once deals are closed to ensure a strong handover.

·        As the business scales, help define sales processes and contribute to building a future commercial team.

Who You Are
·        A proven new business hunter who enjoys opening doors and winning new clients.

·        Experienced within the fragrance or beauty industry, either brand-side, retail, or closely adjacent.

·        Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where autonomy, initiative, and resilience matter.

·        A confident and credible communicator who can sell innovative technology.

·        Commercially minded, organised, and motivated by results.

·        Familiar with CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a strong advantage.
