Chris is a member of the ELC UK&I Executive Leadership Team, and works on cross-divisional projects to support internal transformation initiatives. With more than 16 years of experience in the luxury beauty industry, Chris has driven sales growth and expanded the digital reach of some of the world’s most coveted prestige beauty brands.
James Mugford, Head of Beauty, Marks and Spencer
James has worked at M&S for 15 years across various retail, Digital, Customer Insight, and Strategy roles, and has led the Beauty category for the last two years, encompassing both brands and a significant Own-Label portfolio. He brings a wealth of experience from the UKs most Trusted Brand and largest Fashion retailer on customers, retail channels and how customer behaviour is changing across all categories, and what customers want from M&S to unlock ambitious growth plans in Beauty.
Pete Dick, Founder & CEO, Grant Digital
Pete is the founder of Grant Digital, a social commerce agency built by TikTok Shop alumni. With a background in the beauty industry, Pete was a beauty leader at TikTok Shop and played a pivotal role in launching TikTok Shop UK in 2021. Today, he and his team partner with brands across the UK, EU and US to build and accelerate their TikTok Shop business, guiding them through every stage of their social commerce journey.
Ruth McFetridge, Leasing Director - Landsec
Ruth McFetridge is a retail specialist with 15 years’ experience working within the sector. She has a wealth of knowledge covering all aspects of leasing, providing her with invaluable market insight and an in-depth understanding of how to build a customer-centric business. As Retail Leasing Director, Ruth leads the leasing across Landsec's London portfolio and several of Landsec's flagships including Bluewater, Westgate and Trinity.
Ruth's has a passion for Health & Beauty. Since joining Landsec in 2020, she has led the substantial growth of Health and Beauty brands within its portfolio through category expertise and building great relationships which create value for brand partners. Prior to joining Landsec, Ruth specialised in retail asset management at LaSalle before leading on their Alternatives division. She also spent time at Estee Lauder as a Real Estate Manager for their 100 UK stores.
