Seeking a new impetus on your sustainability journey? The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association’s Sustainability Summit on 10th May in Central London is an event you won’t want to miss!
Sustainability must be at the heart of a business, reducing the impact of our products and their use on the world’s resources, not causing harm to the environment, and putting people and the planet first, ahead of everything else.
This Summit is the must-attend event for members and non-members of CTPA and will bring together industry leaders and innovators both inside and outside the industry to challenge us to rethink the whole life cycle of our products, innovate to create products and experiences that meet consumers’ needs and their environmental values and communicate this responsibly.
CTPA has been championing more sustainable practices among the industry through its Sustainability Strategy ‘Driving Towards a Net Positive Cosmetics Industry’. The 2023 Summit will build on the original event in 2021 and will challenge us to drive forward by ‘learning from the best, networking with other professionals in the sector, and taking our ambitions to the next level’.

The hybrid event, meaning delegates can either attend in person or view the event online, will cover the following sessions:

- How CTPA’s own strategy works for the industry.
- Explaining the rationale behind voluntary commitments and different pathways to success.
- Understanding the waste hierarchy, circular value chains and an overall reduction of the use of resources.
- The CMA (Competition and Marketing Authority) Green Claims Code and avoiding Greenwashing and Greenhushing.
