Manzanita Capital have this week announced an investment in Hair by Sam McKnight to help further grow the brand.
CEW Board members Manzanita Capital specialise in investing in luxury and premium niche beauty brands where they provide genuine insight and value with the aim of growing and developing businesses into enduring global brands.
Manzanita Capital invests in entrepreneurs and emerging brands within the beauty industry, with all brands running independently. Manzanita’s first investment was Space NK which provided broad insight into the beauty industry and the trends shaping it. Diptyque and Malin+Goetz are examples of other brands sitting within its portfolio.
Hair by Sam McKnight was founded in 2017 by celebrity hairdresser, industry expert and CEW Achiever Award recipient, Sam McKnight. Sam has worked with many of the world’s most famous people and worked with publications and brands across the globe and Joel Edmondson, CEO of Hair by Sam McKnight, unveiled the news on LinkedIn earlier this week.
Manzanita Capital will sit alongside four other new investors in the brand.
Charlotte Tilbury, founder of the eponymous make-up brand, and French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing have also invested in Hair by Sam McKnight. Lady Bamford, the founder of the sustainable beauty brand Bamford, and the Versace family, are the other investors.
