On Tuesday 19th February CEW marked the first part of the 2019 CEW Beauty Awards with the Product Demonstration Evening at Olympia London - a showcase of outstanding innovation and creativity.
During the evening, in excess of 700 attendees were able to engage with brand experts at their stands and receive live demonstrations of some of the latest beauty products. Guests also had the opportunity to experience the Relaxation Area and visit stands from headline sponsors Amazon Beauty and Sainsbury’s alongside the Evening Standard, QVC, Mintel, M&S Beauty, simplehuman and Youcam by PERFECT.
With the expansion of product categories to include Best New Mask, Best New Vegan Beauty Product and Best New Beauty Supplement, the awards received entries from an incredible array of brands such as Kate Somerville, ICONIC LONDON and Fresh. This year also saw record entries for the Responsible Beauty Award sponsored by Givaudan. With around 300 products entries, the CEW Beauty Awards act as a true trend indicator for the sector and are the only awards voted for by professionals working within the industry.
Online voting for the CEW Beauty Awards opened following the event to allow CEW members to have their voices heard before the Winners Announcement Lunch on Friday 26th April.
