When the world outside is filled with stress and confusion, it is not always easy to find our own balance and inner peace. On Wednesday 17th, CEW will be bringing together two inspirational wellbeing experts to discuss the power of taking a moment to reconnect with ourselves each day.
A seasoned expert in the worlds of beauty and wellness and CEW Board member, Tracey Woodward will be in healing conversation with Karen Ruimy, Founder of Kalmar - a holistic wellbeing experience rooted in spiritual self-discovery, to discuss the power of self-care to connect every individual with their inner world.
In this healing session, Karen will also guide us through a short meditation to help us let go of our worries and take us to a place of peace and serenity.
If you were unable to attend this session, you can rewatch it here.
Karen is a multi-disciplinarian in the truest sense of the word. Born in Morocco and raised in Paris, she spent eight years working in the finance industry until, at the age of 28, she experienced the spiritual awakening which prompted her to trade it all in. She has been devoted to her soul’s calling ever since – and that trajectory has carried her through spiritual healing, writing, dance, music and philanthropy. Karen has been offering healing sessions and leading workshops and meditations for over 10 years.
It’s an unusual trajectory, but an organic and authentic one, underpinned by a passionate pursuit of self-discovery and wellbeing. Now, as the founder of Kalmar, Karen has created a holistic wellbeing experience which allows others to access some of what she has made her life’s work, realigning the mind, body and soul through energy and intention-setting, allowing every individual to move forward on their own unique journey to wellbeing.
Karen is also the author of The Angel’s Metamorphosis and her new book, The Voice of the Angel, a collection of spiritual writings enriched by beautiful imagery. Both books are profoundly lyrical and deeply personal, they are designed to uplift and guide the reader, as Karen puts it ‘on the voyage of the soul’.
Having worked within the beauty industry for over 36 years, Tracey has a wealth of spa, retail and beauty experience. She is a highly respected, experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the cosmetics and wellbeing industries; skilled in leadership, marketing management, retail, sales, spa and product development – Tracey is an inspiring and motivational leader.
