Space NK’s new Battersea Power Station store opened on Friday 14th October 2022, and is “a new flagship beauty shopping destination, centred around our customers’ needs,” Andy Lightfoot, Space NK CEO, explains. It is Space NK’s largest store to date, spanning over 2100sq ft.
The store has been expertly curated using customer insight to provide space to discover our brands – from makeup play tables and skincare expertise pods (there are two in the store for 1-2-1 consultations). Treatment rooms, of which there are also two, feature in the store experience offering facials with expert therapists, as well as an experiential area where customers can immerse themselves in the latest brands and seasonal moments with rotating mini pop-ups.
For the customer with limited time, clear navigation has been introduced, and there are locations for brand expression so customers can quickly identify or find out more about a brand. There is a dedicated area for the customer to refill their Space NK Hand & Body empties as well as recycle their used beauty packaging (even if they didn’t purchase the product from Space NK).
Space NK in the newly developed Battersea Power Station has all the hallmarks of Space NK, bringing some of the world’s most in-demand beauty brands to our customers, but there’s a design twist. From the outside, the store is an inviting space, the resign allowing a view into the heart of the store, as well as a sneak peek at the experiential area. There’s also a warmer colour palette with the introduction of soft pink, satin copper, and natural fluted oak.
