Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise scalable microbial cell culture processes from lab to pilot scale.
• Apply strain engineering and advanced molecular biology techniques across microbial systems.
• Support process scale‑up and downstream development for industrial implementation.
• Work closely with internal production teams and external partners to ensure successful tech transfer.
• Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, IP, applications, and sales teams to align on project goals.
• Contribute to the smooth transition of processes into commercial‑scale manufacture.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong academic background in microbiology, biotechnology or chemical engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise in microbial cell culture, fungal strain engineering, and genetic manipulation.
• Skilled in molecular biology techniques, including cloning and DNA/RNA work.
• Confident communicator and collaborator with technical and commercial teams.
