Timeline for 2025 Two-Way Mentoring – Sixth Cycle, supported by Puig
PLEASE NOTE APPLICATIONS FOR THE FIFTH CYCLE HAVE CLOSED
ABOUT CEW’S TWO-WAY MENTORING
Mentoring is a planned pairing of a more skilled or experienced person with a less experienced person. It involves active engagement, between the Mentor and the Mentee, helping to explore any issues or aims, and both short and long term objectives.
Mentors will provide direction and advice either within an organisation, or within an industry. They provide a neutral sounding board, and will draw on their expertise and experience to help the Mentee overcome obstacles, and think through problems. They can advise on career planning, and offer insight into business challenges using their own experiences.
Mentors support and question, helping the Mentee to develop a greater understanding not only of their business, but how to approach the many varied management stresses, that running a team of people, with all their quirks and needs, can present. Their knowledge and experience, can help short-cut the learning process, turbo-charging professional growth, offering the Mentee a real advantage in the workplace.
Whether it’s advice on giving feedback, working with tricky retailers, navigating internal politics, or preparing for a promotion interview, the advice of a Mentor is priceless.
