Boots has confirmed plans to open its inaugural fragrance boutique in Broadgate Central, London, this autumn!
Spanning approximately 2,150 sq ft, the new Boots Fragrance store will showcase a selection of over 400 luxury and niche scents. Among these will be UK exclusives and more than 20 brands making their debut at Boots.
The boutique aims to bring together emerging British, founder‑led perfumers alongside international niche labels, promoting the artistry and innovation of modern perfumery in one curated space. Designed as a sensory‑led destination, the boutique features discovery zones and immersive experiences. Customers can explore and engage with fragrances in a modern, reimagined retail environment.
The store will also employ trained fragrance experts who will offer personalised consultations, tailored recommendations, premium concierge services, and luxury gift‑wrapping options.
Boots director of fragrance Chelsey Saunders said: “Boots Fragrance boutique represents a bold step forward in how we bring fragrance to our customers.
“As the nation’s favourite beauty retailer, we’re proud to be creating a space that not only showcases the very best in luxury and niche perfumery, but also makes it more accessible, inviting and inspiring for all.”
This new venture follows Boots’ earlier foray into concept retail: in 2023, the company launched an 11,200 sq ft Beauty Studio at Battersea Power Station.
The announcement arrives shortly after Walgreens—the US‑listed parent company of Boots—received shareholder approval for a $10 billion takeover by private equity firm Sycamore Partners. The acquisition has cast uncertainty over Boots’ future structure, with speculation suggesting that Sycamore may spin off or divest the retailer
