With a history in the development of physiotherapeutic products and medical equipment, BTL AESTHETICS has become the market leader in non-invasive body-shaping treatments as a result of excellent R&D, advanced technology, and data-driven knowledge.
BTL is renowned for its widely recognised award-winning body instruments, including the revolutionary EDGETM, delivering unparalleled results. Now the company has entered the world of facial devices for the first time.
Set to further strengthen its authority across the aesthetics industry, CEW was delighted to find out more about EMFACE at its launch in London.
EMFACE is the first and only hands-free, non-invasive device that simultaneously affects the facial muscles and skin to remodel, smooth and tone without the use of needles. Optimal results are seen 6-12 weeks after the final treatment. The face has a natural lift, and more definition and wrinkles appear visibly reduced.
It is the first device on the market to utilise the simultaneous application of both the synchronised RF and HIFESTM energies. Synchronised RF remodels and smooths skin by heating the dermis and increasing the levels of collagen and elastin fibres, while the HIFESTM technology restores and elevates support of facial tissues by selectively contracting specific muscles and increasing the density and quality of muscle structure.
The details:
- Full face treatment in a 20-minute session
- Two therapies in one procedure – treating both facial skin and muscles simultaneously
- Backed by nine clinical studies, on average, EMFACE delivers a 30% increase in muscle tone, 37% reduction in wrinkles and 23% more lift
- Needle-free, no downtime
- Hands-free treatment, the device runs independently once applicators are set
- For best results, 4 x 20-minute sessions are recommended, 5-10 days apart
- 95% patient satisfaction
Suited to preventative, corrective, and/or restorative treatment, EMFACE can be beneficial to a wide range of age groups.
Unlike manual sculpting methods and topical firming products, EMFACE is able to make long-term structural improvements to the face and the quality of the skin. The device targets specific muscle groups, including the frontalis to elevate the eyebrows as well as the zygomaticus to raise the corners of the mouth.
“Emface is going to do for the face what Emsculpt did for the body,” said facial plastic surgeon Yael Halaas, M.D.
“EMFACE helps restore more youthful function to facial muscles,” Brian Kinney, M.D., elaborated, “and it promotes more youthful-looking skin, which doesn’t just look better, it functions more like it used to. It’s very easy to explain this to people, and they love the concepts, especially if they’re averse to more invasive treatments or injectables, which many people are.”
