We are proud to announce the launch of CEW Accelerate, an innovative new programme in partnership with Mintel and leading beauty businesses, to advance the development and growth of Independent British Beauty and Wellbeing brands.
CEW Accelerate is open for applications from 10am on Wednesday 12th May and will provide five businesses access to a 12-week programme offering a range of unique insights and connections, to help them develop their brands and fuel accelerated growth, in the UK and beyond, during the post-pandemic, post Brexit era. The brands will be chosen by an independent panel of experts and all companies will need to apply to an independent panel via a digital application process to CEW UK.
To be eligible, companies must have an annual turnover of between £100k and £3million, be a UK registered company, a member of CEW UK*, and demonstrate that their business will pioneer growth, export goods and services, create employment and drive innovation in the beauty and wellbeing category.
The chosen brands will gain expert support and insights from Mintel and the “CEW House of Experts” across relevant business disciplines in a 12-week programme designed to grow and evolve the businesses to reach their full potential and to meet their individual needs. They will gain exclusive access to:
- Mintel’s beauty content and insights, analysts/partners and CEW House of Experts via a series of workshops and face to face sessions
- An invitation to an exclusive event where the selected brands will be showcased to an audience of leading beauty industry executives.
- Entry to the CEW UK Beauty Awards 2022 and a special showcase at the Product Demonstration event.
- Individual brand features across the CEW UK website and social platforms
- Access to retail opportunities and media outlets
- PR coverage driven by CEW
All businesses entering, even if not selected, will also benefit from a special CEW membership rate*, an editorial feature on the CEW UK website, an invitation to the networking opportunity to meet industry executives, access to follow up insights from The CEW “House of Experts” and Mintel analysts, as well as a portfolio of Executive Summaries from Mintel.
The programme will build on the success of CEW’s highly successful “Find a Beauty Brand” programme, first launched in 2015 with partners QVC, which saw brands such as NIOD, Little Ondine and Soapsmith championed.
There has been a seismic shift in the global beauty and wellbeing industry since launching “Find a Beauty Brand” in 2015, this is due to many reasons including Brexit, COVID-19, cultural shifts and of course climate change. The CEW Accelerate programme is designed to support independent brands in the beauty industry and to inspire the next generation of brand founders.
