Founded by beauty entrepreneur and proud CEW UK member, Eniye Okah, BEAME emerged from Eniye’s personal struggle with stress-induced skin issues and the lack of sun protection options for darker skin tones. “This holistic approach to sun care was inspired by my own experiences with stress and burnout,” Eniye explains. “Stress severely affected my skin and mood. I discovered that stressed skin becomes more sensitive to the sun, causing acne and other issues. I used the sun to boost my mood, but growing up without sunscreen made sun protection a low priority, leading to further damage.”
