The Estée Lauder Companies has opened a new Fragrance Atelier in Paris, marking a major investment in its luxury and prestige fragrance portfolio. Located within La Maison des Parfums on Rue Volney, the space was inaugurated under the patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron.
Designed as a hub for fragrance artistry and innovation, the Atelier brings together perfumers, brand teams and technologists to reimagine how scents are developed. The facility is equipped with AI-driven creation tools, neuroscience modelling, and real-time regulatory tracking – technology that Estée Lauder says will cut fragrance development time by up to half.
“This new Atelier builds on our heritage of creativity and innovation,” said Stéphane de La Faverie, President and CEO of The Estée Lauder Companies. “It unites world-class expertise and technology to drive the future of our fragrance brands.”
Spanning 2,000 square metres across five floors, the Atelier combines modern design with French craftsmanship. It will serve the group’s leading fragrance names, including Jo Malone London, Tom Ford, Le Labo, Kilian Paris, and Frédéric Malle.
Pascal Cagni, France’s Ambassador for International Investments, called the opening “a testament to France’s unique ecosystem of creativity and innovation.”
