CEW, the largest professional membership organisation for the Beauty Industry in the UK, has a diverse network of members from across the beauty sector. For over a decade, we have organised various events and discussions around the topic of building a sustainable beauty industry, with Givaudan as our long term partner for the annual Responsible Beauty Awards.
CEW's mission is to support individuals and businesses across the beauty industry to help them thrive and we rely on our members' feedback to inform our activities to ensure they are relevant and valuable to as many people as possible.
At the end of 2022, we surveyed our UK members about sustainable and responsible beauty. Based on their responses, this week we unveil our Sustainability Hub, a permanent and constantly evolving resource on the CEW website. All members have free access to this hub, which will provide a library of information and resources applicable to their businesses and we welcome any resources that members are keen to share.
As part of the research, our members also suggested topics they would like to see us discuss, and we will be rolling out a programme of events based on their suggestions with a roster of industry experts who have all stepped forward to take part and all of whom will bring valuable expertise and knowledge to the CEW community.
The CEW Board wholeheartedly supports this new resource, and we are delighted to be working with Anna Bartle of Estée Lauder Companies and Oriele Frank of Elemis, as Chief Strategy Officers and thank them both for their assistance in shaping our activities and ensuring they are relevant and valuable for our members.
On 20th April at 4.30pm we invite you to join us for a short workshop webinar featuring Anna, Oriele, and CEW Board member Maxine Canham, Global Account Director at Givaudan Active Beauty, to provide more information about our hub, the Responsible Beauty Awards, answer any questions members may have and gather feedback from our members.
