Boots UK and EISENBERG Paris Celebrate Premium Beauty Collaboration
On the 11th June, CEW welcomed Annie Murphy, Commercial Director of Boots UK and Edmond Eisenberg, Strategy Manager of EISENBERG Paris for The Future of Feeling Pretty Damn Good, held at EY, 1 More London Place.Â
The event highlighted important changes Boots UK is making to its strategy and introduced an exciting new brand partnership with luxury skincare line, EISENBERG, securing the brand’s position in the premium beauty market.Â
As key speaker, Annie spoke passionately of how Boots has been making people feel good for 165 years across 2,500 stores in the UK. The brand’s role within the beauty industry is constantly evolving, when the first Boots store opened in the 1870s, the mission was to champion everyone’s right to survival with affordable pharmaceutical services. In the 1950s, the brand worked to establish a basic standard of health and beauty for its customers, and now, in the 2000s Boots support the right for everyone to feel good.Â
Boots is at the heart of the beauty industry today which Annie believes is commercially, very attractive. Testament to their success, 85 % of women buy beauty products at Boots and they currently have 14.8 million active advantage card users.Â
However Annie noted that in this dynamic, changing world Boots must adapt and evolve to continue to meet the needs of beauty customers. With an audience that is more digital savvy and in control than ever before, but still with a love of being able to touch, try and play with beauty products the role of omni channel retailing in beauty has never been more important.Â
Boots already strives to cater to the changing climate of the beauty industry, for example their advantage card service means that they can tailor their advice and offers to a specific customer. They have also introduced the order and collect in store service which allows customers to get their products the next day if they order by 6pm. However Annie promises that Boots are going to improve their services even further with new concepts such as ‘The Beauty Spot’ and making premium beauty more accessible on the high street.
After Annie had presented her findings she introduced Edmond Eisenberg, Strategy Manager of EISENBERG Paris, luxury skincare, fragrance and cosmetics brand.Â
Edmond introduced the EISENBERG Paris brand proudly and with passion before announcing the exciting partnership with Boots UK. Their fragrances, skincare and cosmetics will be available to purchase in selected stores from the 24th of June and from Boots online. This marks a new benchmark for Boots’ foray into the premium beauty market.
EISENBERG Paris was created by José Eisenberg, Edmond’s father, in 2000. With detailed research into beauty products dating back to the 1980s the company’s innovative ‘Trio-Molecular Formula’ captured the imagination of the premium beauty industry. Edmond puts great focus on the quality of the products and spoke of how the company owes its great quality products to his father’s passion and creative flare for the beauty industry.Â
CEW would like to thank EY for hosting this event.
