CEW is delighted to welcome Yasmin-Kate Pattison back to our zoom stage for the third episode in our series of events looking at wellbeing, stress, mental health and anxiety.
With a career spanning 20 years in the beauty industry, she is an expert developmental coach and specilaises in mental health training, developmental coaching and supports businesses on how to implement a wellbeing strategy no matter the size of the business
In this episode we will look at how anxiety presents itself both physically and behaviorally. We will look at the causes of anxiety and start to discover helpful strategies to reduce anxiety in our daily lives.Â
In 2013, there were 8.2 million cases of anxiety in the UK, and anxiety affects twice as many women as men. There is understandable concern about the impact of the pandemic on people’s well-being. Figures from the ONS show that the equivalent of 19 million adults in Great Britain report high levels of anxiety, which is more than double previous recorded cases.

Yasmin-Kate has over 20 years’ international experience working in the retail world specifically in retail and service strategy, coaching, learning & development, leadership and management roles.
Yasmin-Kate has ground up hands on experience in many roles. Starting her career on the shop-floor as a Beauty Advisor in 1996, she worked her way up through to senior leadership roles for one of the beauty industry’s largest brands before starting her own consultancy, so fully understands all the highs and the challenges that being in these roles can bring. Developing and investing in people is her greatest passion. Yasmin-Kate fully believes that for any business to be truly successful, they need to put their people at the heart of what they do. Staff need to see, hear and feel how important and valued they are — those that do, give back through greater engagement, which in turn boosts productivity and ongoing loyalty.
As a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor member, she knows that part of true staff engagement comes from them feeling they have a safe and open environment to be heard and understood. Offering mental health training, developmental coaching and support on how to implement a well-being strategy for businesses of all sizes is the largest part of Yasmin-Kate’s specialism.
