Givaudan Fragrance and Beauty, has this week the completion of its acquisition of b.kolormakeup & skincare (b.kolor), an innovative Italian company specialising in developing and producing finished makeup and skincare products for Consumer Packaged Goods, Indie Brands, and Luxury Goods consumers.
Aligned with its 2025 strategy to expand in the beauty categories, Givaudan acquired a 25% stake in b.kolor in July 2021. The acquisition of the remaining 75% enhances Givaudan’s capabilities in makeup formulations and skin care applications, broadening its value proposition in the beauty sector, where it already holds strong leadership in fine fragrances and hair care.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered near Milan, Italy, b.kolor employs over 300 people and is recognized for its expertise in creative formulation design and the production of finished products for B2B customers, focusing on innovation and sensory benefits combined with state-of-the-art technical performance.
