May marks the return of Get Lippy Month, the powerful awareness and fundraising campaign supporting The Eve Appeal – the UK’s leading gynaecological cancer charity dedicated to prevention and early diagnosis.
As proud charity partners, CEW UK continues to champion this important initiative alongside founding partner Tesco, and a collective of leading beauty brands. Following yesterday’s Getting Lippy and Loud event at The Conduit, the message is clear: the conversation must continue.

Why It Matters
Awareness of the five gynaecological cancers – womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval, and vaginal – remains worryingly low:
- Every day in the UK, 60 women and people with gynae organs are diagnosed, and 21 lose their lives
- Only 3% of people can name all five gynaecological cancers
- 1 in 3 delay seeking medical advice for symptoms
Shame, stigma, and misinformation are still major barriers to early diagnosis.
How to Get Lippy
Shop with purpose
Buy participating products from partner brands, who will donate to The Eve Appeal throughout May.
Spread the word
Follow @EveAppeal and share their expert, life-saving information across your channels.
Challenge misinformation
This year highlights the dangers of inaccurate health information – knowing where to find trusted advice has never been more important. Chat to your GP, not ChatGPT if you are worried about gynae health symptoms.

Join the Movement
This May, get lippy with your voice. Start conversations, share knowledge, and help normalise talking about gynaecological health – so more people feel confident spotting symptoms and seeking help early.
Together, we can help make gynaecological cancers a thing of the past.
