Salon Business Partner – (North Holland/Amsterdam)

I have partnered exclusively with a global beauty and cosmetics brand with their search for a Salon Business Partner. You will deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth. As a Salon Business Partner, you will focus on achieving sales targets through strategic management of budgets, sales performance, customer engagement, and new business development within key, market-leading salons in your assigned territory.

By adopting a consultative selling approach, you will build trusted and lasting relationships with salon owners and stylists, offering tailored solutions through education and marketing initiatives to create value and drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with, manage, and nurture relationships with customers and prospects in the salon business, both digitally and in person, within the assigned sales territory.
  • Focus on providing value-driven opportunities through education, marketing, and business programs to achieve sales targets – targets are based on budget, net sales, new customer acquisition, and business/distribution growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans and programs to drive commercial success within the assigned sales territory.
  • Effectively plan, execute, and monitor all activities outlined in the Business Plan, conducting quarterly reviews to identify opportunities, address gaps, and foster growth for the salon brands.
    Manage the region by keeping the customer base up to date and monitor important market developments and competition.
  • Effectively manage assigned budgets to sustain and expand relationships with key and market-leading salons, drive new customer acquisition, and grow business and distribution.
  • Ensure cost efficiency within the territory by adhering to trade terms and optimizing promotional activities.
  • Plan and deliver comprehensive in-salon training programs that go beyond product knowledge.
    Take ownership of brand positioning and image within your assigned sales territory, both online—leveraging social selling—and offline, ensuring consistent and impactful representation across all channels.

The person:

Previous Business Development experience in a similar role preferable within beauty/cosmetics.
Strong communication and interpersonal, with the ability to establish and maintain professional business relationships with clients.

Possesses the ability to identify sales opportunities, deliver compelling presentations, and successfully close deals, supported by strong negotiation skills and effective techniques. Must have a keen attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage time effectively to meet all deadlines.

Valid driver’s license required, min of 3 – 5 years sales experience in consumer goods with previous salon sales experience preferred. Fluent in Dutch.

€70k + uncapped commission structure + car allowance.

Roles available covering: North Holland/Amsterdam, Overrijssel (Almelo / Enschede).
