Code8 is a London-born makeup brand representing the infinite potential of makeup to express all beauty ideals, regardless of age, skin colour and look preferences. As the brand manager, you will be the voice of the brand in the market, ensuring that our brand vision is correctly executed and adhered to at all times and across all channels. You will support the marketing director in driving growth in this rapidly growing startup brand in both the UK and beyond.


Brand Management and Development 

  • Support the marketing director with creation and development of the brand identity
  • Serve as brand guardian across all projects, ensuring a consistent brand tone of voice and visuals
  • Coordinate creation of all brand assets with relevant creative agencies; write copy as and when needed
  • Prepare brand presentations to support other business functions

360 Marketing Activation Execution

  • Build out annual brand plans and circulate to all relevant functions across the business
  • Work closely with the marketing director and digital team on 360° media execution, including the briefing process for annual planning and campaigns, attending all meetings with the agency, reviewing and reporting on results post-campaign
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders across the business to communicate campaign concepts and assist with translation across all channels and functions (i.e. Digital, Social, PR, Retail, etc.)
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with the PR agency and execution of all press activities
  • Support local markets with translation of brand identity and assets for local activations as we expand into other global markets
  • Manage marketing activation budget with guidance from the marketing director
  • Organise and pack organic product send outs to send to influencers and KOLs

Product Development and Portfolio Management 

  • Collaborate with marketing director to develop and execute NPD launch plans in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Feedback customer insights and market research to product development team
  • Ownership of stock forecasting processes for new launches, ensuring marketing and operations are aligned with all deadlines being met


  • Educated to degree level, preferably in marketing or communications
  • An understanding of the full marketing mix and the relationship between online and offline channels
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Experience working within a fashion, cosmetics or luxury lifestyle company
  • Highly creative with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Strong communication and English language skills, both spoken and written
  • A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Ability and interest to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Previous experience in a rapid growth startup environments is a plus
