We are working alongside a truly innovative client that dominates the health and beauty market by providing highly successful, licensed products to leading UK retailers. They are searching for a Sales Director with a strong commercial background from the beauty industry and ideally a good understanding of fast fashion. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to lead and drive effective sales and marketing strategies within the business. Key Responsibilities: · Produce and monitor effective sales and marketing strategies, ensuring KPI’s and targets are consistently met. · Manage budgets for the wider team · Analyse reports in order to forecast sales and set targets · Set company targets and KPI’s and oversee performance of sales staff · Keep up to date with market research and monitor competitors’ products. Analyse and report results, adjusting the strategies if needed. Recognise trends and foresee potential stagnation in the marketplace · Regular meetings to determine company performance and highlight issues to be actioned and to present sales results. · Negotiate agreements for contracts, working closely with the account managers to secure larger accounts. · Present at events and conferences ensuring you have to best knowledge of our products and services Experience: · 5 years’ experience in a similar role, successfully leading a sales team · A confident leader with the ability to maintain relationships with key customers · Excellent negotiating skills · Experience in Health and Beauty sector and working with mass market retailers As part of the application process, we will store your details on our database.
