An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally respected luxury skincare brand as a Business Manager in Selfridges, Oxford Street. This position offers a blend of commercial leadership, team management, and hands-on client engagement – all within one of London’s most high-profile beauty retail settings.
Our client is a science-led skincare brand renowned for its advanced formulations and clinical innovation. With a strong presence in premium retail and global distribution, the company continues to set the benchmark in high-performance, luxury skincare.
As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial success of the brand’s Selfridges location. This includes leading a passionate team, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring that operational standards and brand representation are consistently delivered to the highest level. You will report to the UK Sales Controller and serve as the brand’s key figure within the store.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Customer Engagement
·      Lead retail performance by driving both individual and team sales
·      Deliver tailored consultations that create lasting customer relationships
·      Promote a culture of high-touch, luxury service and skincare expertise
·      Maintain a visible and proactive presence on the shop floor
People Management
·      Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
·      Provide structured feedback, regular coaching, and motivation
·      Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and pride
Commercial & Operational Oversight
·      Analyse store performance data to identify trends and adapt strategies
·      Oversee inventory levels and ensure presentation standards meet brand expectations
·      Liaise with store and brand leadership to coordinate activities and initiatives
Brand Stewardship
·      Uphold and reflect the brand’s values and positioning in every interaction
·      Act as a point of contact for both internal stakeholders and the Selfridges team
·      Plan and support customer events, launches, and brand experiences
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
·     Proven leadership experience within a luxury retail setting
·     Strong background in beauty, skincare, or high-end fashion
·     Confident communicator and engaging leader
·     Highly organised, commercially aware, and client-focused
·     Willing to work retail hours including weekends and key trading days
