They’re looking for a seasoned Operations Director to lead their UK and international operations. This is a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operational direction as they continue to expand across global markets. You’ll be part of their senior leadership team, reporting into the Chief Operating Officer in the US, and working closely with our UK-based General Manager.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing operational performance, leading end-to-end logistics, and ensuring seamless alignment with their global strategy. You’ll also work closely with teams across the business to help deliver a first-class customer journey and strengthen their international supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Operations Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of operational plans to support international expansion and business growth.
Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee procurement, production planning, stock control, and international logistics to ensure efficiency across markets.
Fulfilment & Delivery: Manage fulfilment processes and distribution channels to support both retail and direct-to-consumer operations.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work alongside commercial, ecommerce, marketing, and finance teams to align operational priorities with wider business goals.
Third-Party Oversight: Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturing partners, logistics providers, and other key suppliers.
Operational Compliance: Ensure internal operations meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards, both locally and internationally.
Customer Experience Support: Partner with customer support teams to maintain high standards of service and resolve operational issues proactively.
Sustainability Focus: Identify and lead improvements in sustainability, from packaging to supply chain practices.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Significant experience in a senior operations, logistics, or supply chain role, within beauty.
Solid understanding of global operations, including import/export processes, inventory planning, and logistics partnerships.
A track record of driving operational improvements and implementing scalable systems.
Confident working with data and KPIs to inform decision-making and measure performance.
Natural leadership ability, with experience managing teams and working across time zones and functions.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and comfort using digital tools to drive efficiency.
A proactive mindset and the ability to work at pace in a growing, change-oriented environment.
