Sally Beauty and Salon Services have introduced a new in-store training programme, Learn More, Earn More, rolling out across the UK from March 2026.
The initiative is designed to support the changing structure of the hairdressing workforce, where more than half of professionals are now working independently or on a freelance basis. With ongoing cost pressures across the sector, the programme focuses on providing accessible, local training that can fit around busy schedules.
Delivered within Sally Beauty stores nationwide, the sessions offer in-person education led by brand educators. Training will focus on colour brands including XP, Wunderbar and Lômé Paris, with an emphasis on practical application and day-to-day salon challenges. Each session is structured to provide hands-on learning, covering areas such as colour confidence, consultation techniques, and product knowledge.
The format is designed to allow professionals to upskill without taking extended time away from clients, offering shorter, local sessions that can be integrated into working schedules. The programme also reflects a broader shift towards more flexible and commercially focused education within the industry.
A series of training dates will take place across multiple UK locations throughout 2026, including cities such as Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and London.
