“Visibility is not just about being seen, it’s about being recognised, valued and supported.” – Danielle St James, Chief Executive at Not A Phase
Sephora UK has announced a new charity partnership with Not A Phase, a leading trans-led organisation supporting trans+ adults. The collaboration coincides with International Trans Day of Visibility, celebrating trans+ individuals and raising awareness of their experiences.
Not A Phase runs initiatives like Misfits, a free fitness and self-defence programme for trans+ adults across the UK. With sessions in nine locations, the initiative has helped thousands access safe and inclusive wellness spaces. Alongside this, Not A Phase runs awareness campaigns and social programmes as well as Trans+ Connect online support groups and DE&I training, making a difference within the community.
Sephora UK’s collaboration with Not A Phase aims to create lasting change for the trans+ community. More initiatives will be announced in the future, marking the start of an ongoing commitment to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices.
The partnership runs alongside Sephora UK’s work with Face Equality International (FEI), an organisation supporting individuals with facial differences and disfigurements.
Through these collaborations, Sephora champions inclusivity aiming to ensure all individuals feel recognised, valued, and supported.
