“Owning The Room” with Viv Groskop

CEW was delighted to welcome Viv Groskop, accomplished writer, comedian, author and broadcaster, as the host of the first Young Executive event of 2019. She wrote her most recent book, "How to Own the Room", because she felt it was time for someone to write a book for women about public speaking.
This interactive session encouraged members of the audience to address things that they found challenging and find methods for overcoming their personal insecurities with Viv's help.
Viv went on to introduce the idea of 'happy high status' and shared examples of remarkable public figures and leaders that embody this. She said, "Happy high status is very close to charisma. It really means being comfortable in your own skin; allowing yourself to be confident and assertive without being angry and aggressive."
All attendees also received a complimentary copy of Viv's book, "How to Own the Room".
