‘Importing and Exporting Cosmetic and Personal Care Products in 2021 - Post Transition Period’
CTPA and the UK Customs Academy are teaming up to deliver the free Brexit webinar ‘Importing and Exporting Cosmetic and Personal Care Products in 2021 - Post Transition Period’ on 27th August at 14.00. The webinar combines key requirements and actions that have to be taken now to continue to sell compliant cosmetic products in the UK and EU markets, whilst ensuring their movement across borders. The webinar will also briefly explore the opportunities for international trade.
CTPA is working closely with the UK Customs Academy, which has been set-up under the Institute of Export and International Trade at the request of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to support the development of a robust and sustainable customs intermediaries sector of the future, through investing in quality training and learning, up-skilling more people and making learning opportunities more flexible and accessible to all.
The webinar will cover:
- International trade classification for cosmetic and personal care products, a brief introduction of international compliance- presented by Johanna Irigaray, International Information Officer, CTPA;
- Regulatory and compliance for cosmetics in the UK and the EU markets, including compliance with the chemicals regulation REACH- presented by Francesca Rapolla, Regulatory Affairs Manager, CTPA;
- Import and export trade in 2021 post-Brexit transition period, covering customs requirements (including Northern Ireland), tariffs, VAT, Rules of Origin - presented by Kevin Shakespeare, UK Customs Academy and the Institute of Export & International Trade.
