Today, Diptyque launched Les Mondes de Diptyque, the first scented candle collection offering refills with an assortment of accessories.
Combining an aesthetic appeal, technical excellence and eco-responsibility, the collection delicately interprets several little-known but remarkable places, each featuring its own captivating blend of nature and culture.
Designed by Cristina Celestino, a designer chosen for her work in glass, the new creation is a striking, glass oval comprising of three stacked tiers. Inspired by the shapes found in nature and manufactured using pressed glass technology, the initial design demonstrates beautiful glassmaking expertise.
The perfumes imagined by Olivia Giacobetti are characterised by their diversity and quality of raw materials used and transport our senses. Once consumed, the wax can be replaced by a fresh block designed to fit the object’s contours, making this the first refillable Diptyque candle to become an enduring object of luxury.
The scents include Nymphées Merveilles (Milan), La Forêt Rêve (Mexico), Temple des Mousses (Kyoto), La Vallée du Temps (China) and Terres Blondes (Colorado).
As the first refillable candle from Diptyque, there is also a special ritual made possible by a new range of expertly crafted, meticulously designed accessories to take care of your candle. The glass lid can be positioned beneath the candle as the base, with delicately perfumed matches, a snuffer and golden metal wick trimer.
This year, Diptyque celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the brand’s emblematic candle, created in 1963 and now the icon of Diptyque, with Les Mondes de Diptyque showcasing the evolution of this offering.
