After hundreds of applications, weeks of interviews and a rigorous selection process, Breakout Beauty UK has unveiled the eleven brands selected to join its 2026 Cohort.
This year’s selection process was supported by some of the UK’s most respected consumer investors, with JamJar, Joyance and Interline Ventures joining the judging panel to help interview, assess and ultimately select the eleven brands. Together, the panel evaluated each brand against a range of criteria, including founder strength, programme fit, retail potential, competitive advantage, scalability, commercial traction, and PR and social media potential.
Chosen for their retail readiness, ambition and potential to become the UK’s next breakout names in beauty, these innovative founders represent the future of the industry. From science-led skincare and sustainable haircare to inclusive grooming and maternal wellbeing, each brand brings a unique proposition and an exciting vision for growth.
Throughout the programme, the cohort will receive support from Breakout Beauty UK’s expert partners, including CEW UK, Boots, TikTok Shop, Bird & Bird, IFGlobal, Amcor, HSBC, and FDD International. Together, these organisations will provide the founders with industry expertise, mentoring, strategic guidance and commercial support to help accelerate their growth.
The announcement follows another major milestone for Breakout Beauty UK, which last night was recognised with Startup Magazine’s Hustle Award for Outstanding Startup Support. The award celebrates the programme’s commitment to helping emerging beauty brands.
Meet the 2026 Cohort
Keats
Founded by Lucinda Hart in 2023, Keats is a minimalist, direct-to-consumer skincare brand built around ingredient transparency. Believing skincare should be shopped the way it’s developed, the brand openly shares validated ingredient efficacy percentages, helping consumers make informed decisions while delivering real results. The vegan, cruelty-free and fragrance-free range is sustainably packaged and designed to simplify skincare.

Aegle’s
Science-led clear skin brand Aegle’s was founded by Zoe Williams following her own experience with persistent blemishes. Combining supplements and skincare, the brand takes an evidence-led, inside-out approach to skin health. Since launch, Aegle’s has helped more than 30,000 women improve their skin and was recognised with the Best Skin Supplement award at the 2025 Who What Wear Next in Beauty Awards.

BSSET
Created by Mohammed Yaqoub and co-founder Ibrahim Abusamra, BSSET is simplifying men’s haircare for every hair type. Named after the Arabic word for “simple”, the brand grew from the success of Mo’s Barbers, whose social content reaches more than 16 million followers. Since launching in late 2023, BSSET has sold over 300,000 units and is currently the number one men’s hair styling brand on TikTok Shop UK.

Stil
Founded by Tash Hagan, Stil was created after years of struggling with conventional sunscreens. The brand is redefining mineral SPF with skincare-first formulas that provide effective UV protection without compromising on texture or leaving a white cast. Thoughtfully designed to feel like beauty rather than pharmacy, Stil is on a mission to make mineral sunscreen an everyday essential.

dussl
Founded in Glasgow by Fraser Wilson, dussl is a premium, gender-neutral skincare brand focused on protecting skin from one of the leading causes of premature ageing: daily UV exposure. Recommended by British GQ, featured in British Vogue and recognised by SHEERLUXE SL.MAN, the vegan and cruelty-free brand also donates 1% of sales to skin cancer charities.

MAYAH
Founded by Jessica Smith and Rebecca Heywood, MAYAH is a personal care brand dedicated to supporting mothers throughout every stage of their journey, from pre-pregnancy through to postpartum. Clinically tested and thoughtfully developed, the range celebrates and empowers women while caring for their changing bodies.

Selkie
Founded by chemist Cicely Coops, Selkie is the UK’s only powder-to-liquid haircare brand. By transforming shampoo and conditioner into concentrated powders mixed at home in reusable bottles, the brand eliminates the need for single-use plastic while prioritising natural, vegan and cruelty-free ingredients. Customers are drawn to Selkie’s sustainability and stay for its performance.

SHYNE
Alvin Mills founded SHYNE after recognising the lack of products designed specifically for men with afro-textured hair. What started with less than £100 has grown into a specialist grooming brand creating products and tools for curls, coils and waves, helping men maintain healthy, defined hair with confidence.

Skinbunny
Founded by Jon-Paul Lawrence, Skinbunny is the home of the Skinbunny under-eye enhancer and facial contouring system. Built on the belief that effective skincare should be accessible, the UK-based brand combines high-quality formulations with affordability and has been featured on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.
Skingredients
Created by renowned dermal facialist and skincare expert Jennifer Rock, Skingredients is an award-winning Irish clinical skincare brand designed to simplify skincare routines. Built around its signature “Key Four” essentials alongside targeted active treatments, the brand has helped tens of thousands of consumers create personalised routines for healthier skin.

That Good Hair
Founded by Paris Reveira after managing her own scalp eczema and fragrance sensitivity, That Good Hair develops plant-powered haircare specifically for textured hair and sensitive scalps. Since launching in 2020, the brand has evolved from a bedroom start-up into a growing multi-channel business with retail locations at Westfield White City and Centre:MK.

As part of the programme, each of the eleven brands will also become CEW UK members, gaining access to industry-leading events, networking opportunities, educational content and community of beauty professionals.
We look forward to following their journeys over the coming months and are excited to welcome them to the CEW UK community.
Congratulations to the entire Breakout Beauty UK 2026 Cohort!
