BBC Radio London has appointed Aarti Pal as its new Resident Beauty Expert.
Aarti Pal is the founder of the South Asian Beauty Collective and has more than 15 years’ experience working across beauty, media and consultancy. In her new role at BBC Radio London, Aarti will contribute to on-air conversations covering skincare, make-up and wider beauty topics. Her segments will also explore themes such as inclusive product development, cultural relevance and representation, alongside highlighting brands, founders and industry voices operating within the UK beauty landscape.

Speaking on the appointment, Aarti said: “BBC Radio London reaches such a broad and brilliantly diverse audience. I’m excited to bring conversations that go beyond products, highlighting inclusive brands, founders and ideas that genuinely connect with how people live, look and feel today. Beauty should feel relevant, empowering and reflective of the city we live in.”
Through the South Asian Beauty Collective, Aarti works with beauty brands, retailers and media platforms on culturally informed approaches to product development, brand strategy and community engagement. The consultancy focuses on supporting brands in reaching audiences that have historically been underrepresented within the beauty industry.
This appointment marks a significant milestone in Aarti Pal’s growing broadcast presence, and reflects BBC Radio London’s commitment to expert-led, inclusive programming.
