JUNI & CO will be the newest tenant in No. 4 The Royal Arcade, Norwich – the new sister brand to award-winning Juni Cosmetics. Due to open later this year, the store will stock the full range of Juni products alongside a carefully curated selection of other beauty and wellness brands, both well-known and niche.
Founded by make-up artist Madeleine White and her mother Suzanne, JUNI & CO’s mission is to provide expertise and transparency to conscientious beauty shoppers. The team will be completed by local celebrated aesthetician and brand owner Louise Thomas-Minns, who will be named as JUNI & CO’s Skin Health Consultant.
Juni’s current product range specialises in high-performance lip care and colour, packaged in bespoke 100% plastic-free packaging, and made with vegan and organic ingredients. The mother-daughter-duo have been celebrated for their innovative design and sustainability credentials, beating Chanel and Jimmy Choo in the PCD Innovation Awards 2021. Madeleine was awarded the highly acclaimed CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Young Achiever Award 2021, recognising her ‘outstanding contributions to the beauty industry’.
Madeleine has always suffered with extremely sensitive skin and understands the complexity of beauty formulations. “So many of our customers ask us for advice on all areas of beauty, whether it be their skin, make-up or hair. From being a make-up artist to founding my own brand, I’ve tried and tested a huge range of products and built relationships with other brand founders. I’m delighted to bring together the best brands from around the world, brands which can’t currently be found anywhere else in Norwich.”
“We want the store to be an oasis of calm, a place for our customers to relax and speak openly and confidentially about their beauty concerns. We’re working with local commercial design team KayKew to ensure the store is absolutely beautiful and has a spa-like atmosphere. Everything will be bespoke and we’re using as many sustainable materials as possible, like ash and cork.” Some of the brands that will be available in the store include Pai Skincare, Pestle & Mortar, ORRIS, Holistic London, Josh Rosebrook, Centred Haircare, Manucurist and Simplehuman, to name a few.
As well as selling beauty products, JUNI & CO will also offer expert advice, consultancy services and treatments. JUNI & CO plans to launch in late summer with an event featuring goody bags and with founders of some of the brands in attendance.
