Join us for our third CEW Young Executive “Beauty Unlimited” Breakfast Event on Tuesday 13th June, when we will be in conversation with Jenny Gao, Group Marketing Manager for Beauty and Imogen Porter, Buying Manager for Beauty at Harrods.
Jenny Gao is the Group Marketing Manager for Beauty at Harrods. Her experience in beauty spans across global strategy, regional marketing, product development, and luxury retail. Jenny’s career began at the Estee Lauder Companies in New York City, where she held key marketing roles, focusing on skincare, promotions, and makeup for Clinique and Estee Lauder brands. She then joined Elizabeth Arden to work on the repositioning of their makeup line. After relocating to London, Jenny joined Burberry to lead the relaunch of the makeup category, focusing on capturing the brand's heritage while introducing new and exciting products to the market. In her current role at Harrods, Jenny oversees marketing activities for the beauty division, which includes the iconic Beauty Halls, Salon de Parfums, The Wellness Clinic, and Hair & Beauty Salon. She was also part of the launch team that introduced H beauty, Harrods specialty beauty stores, to the UK market.
Imogen Porter is the Buying Manager for Beauty at Harrods. Her career at Harrods spans 15 years, starting in Fashion, working across a number of Buyerships, and notably launching the Fashion Lab department in 2013. Imogen moved to Beauty in 2018 as the Skincare Buyer, before then taking on the Beauty Buying Manager role in 2021.
Imogen’s remit covers both the product & services elements of the Harrods Beauty business across all selling channels, Harrods, .com & the 5 regional H Beauty stores, leading strategic brand relationships to deliver the world class portfolio of brands and products you find today across all categories in Beauty at Harrods.
