This week the sustainable beauty brand Haeckels published that it will be letting independent brands, artists and people take over both of its UK retail spaces on Black Friday.
On Friday 25 November 2022, Haeckels will clear their products off the shelves and offer their London and Margate stores to smaller businesses to help promote those “making a difference, pushing boundaries and creating change”.
The brand posted to their instagram account “As Black Friday approaches, we receive countless emails asking us if we will do any promotions. As usual, no. In fact, we’re not even going to be taking any money at all. This Black Friday, we want to offer our retail spaces in Margate and London to smaller brands with big ambitions. We’ll take all our products off the shelves and offer our stores to help amplify and promote those making a difference, pushing boundaries and creating change.”
The Margate-based natural beauty and fragrance brand is searching for 10 innovative businesses for each location, who they will provide with retail space, marketing and access to its network of contacts.
Since posting about this ‘blue beauty’ initiative Haeckels have shared their gratitude for the massive response they’ve received, and are directing any brands who might want to be featured to complete this form.
