The British premium skincare brand will join forces with L’Oréal’s LUXE Division after signing an agreement that will see the founder, management and its private equity partners, Inflexion, remain involved in the running of the business.
The collaboration signals a new chapter of growth for the B Corp™ certified clinical skincare brand, which currently operates a multi-channel model across Europe, Australia and with a growing presence in the US.

Founded by scientist Elliot Isaacs in 2009, Medik8 is available via Professional Clinics, Pharmacies, its DTC website, Etailers, and Retailers, including Space NK, Sephora UK, and Harrods. Best known for its iconic Crystal Retinal serum and trademark CSA Philosophy®, Vitamin C and Sunscreen by Day, Vitamin A by night, the brand offers high-quality active skincare products that are formulated and manufactured in-house, in their UK Innovation Centre, outside London.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the next few months after regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
