Teen beauty brand indu has launched a new Teen Athlete Sponsorship Programme to empower young sports stars and promote active lifestyles.
The initiative supports athletes by covering costs such as competition entry fees, travel expenses, and necessary equipment. This move follows indu’s finding that 97% of teens would feel more empowered if they saw brands supporting their hobbies and talents.
Among the first athletes to join the programme are:
- Lukas Skinner: International Gromsearch Surfing Champion
- Omotara Junaid: Captain of Arsenal Women’s U21 Squad
- Lauren Sandland: Two-time British National Surfing Champion
- Shiloh Omotosho: Three-time British Outdoor 300m Champion
Co-founder Aaron Chatterley, a father of twin teenage girls, emphasised the importance of sports for mental and physical health, stating that indu is privileged to support these athletes and inspire other teens to pursue their sporting interests.
