Sephora UK marked the opening of its latest store yesterday at Liverpool ONE, drawing a crowd of nearly 1,000 visitors by 9am. The launch featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Sephora UK’s Senior Leadership Team and a live appearance from Liverpool native Danny Beard, recent Celebrity Big Brother contestant and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season Four.
The opening follows growing anticipation since the store’s announcement in autumn 2024. Known for its vibrant beauty scene and strong local interest in fashion and nightlife, Liverpool becomes the location of Sephora UK’s eighth store and the first to open in 2025.
This new store marks the beginning of a broader expansion plan for Sephora in the UK, with additional openings confirmed for Sheffield Meadowhall, Manchester Arndale, and St David’s, Cardiff later this year.
Sephora’s arrival in Liverpool reflects ongoing growth in the region’s retail and beauty sectors, with the brand continuing to expand its footprint across key UK cities.
