The House of Creed is thrilled to unveil its newest fragrance, Carmina, a bold yet sultry scent, which launches in retailers on 20th September 2023.
In a respectful nod to the House’s rich heritage in tailoring, Carmina draws its inspiration from the fashion sketchbooks of Henry Creed. These sketchbooks have been treasured by the Creed family for generations and were recently rediscovered in the private chambers of Avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie.
Within the pages of these sketchbooks, one discovers a visual feast of vibrant dresses crafted from opulent, voluminous fabrics, creating a sense of grandeur and opulence. Carmina captures the spirit of the daring and passionate women depicted in these sketches, portraying them as ultimate heroines ready to embark on their next exciting adventure.
The House of Creed, founded by James Henry Creed in the same year as the young king’s accession, boasts a legacy of over 260 years as a trailblazer in creativity for its customers.
Creed distinguishes itself by using rare and natural ingredients that pay homage to the innate beauty of nature. The composition of their fragrances is a blend of prestigious and scarce essences. In their pursuit of excellence, Creed embarks on journeys to source, research, inspect, and commission the finest materials. These materials include roses from various regions such as Bulgaria, France, Turkey, and Morocco, Indian jasmine, Florentine iris, tuberose from India, Haitian vetiver, Calabrian bergamot, and Parma violets.
The composition of the fragrance draws on this notion of electric sensibility. With powerful silage, black cherry and pink pepper add modernity to violet and muted rose. Sa ron adds the warmth, layered with delicate musks and ambers. Finally, cashmere wood adds the luxury woody notes that make Carmina so captivating.
Carmina will be available in Creed boutiques and retailers for 75ml £260 & 30ml £165
