Next week between 25-26th May, Vichy is partnering with the Allbright – the club created by women, for women – on its first ‘Let’s Not Pause: Menopause Summit.’
“We know that menopausal women are now the fastest growing demographic in the workforce, with one in three of the working population soon to be 50+. With both employment rates and the retirement age on the rise, women’s careers are lasting longer than ever before. Despite this, the impact of the menopause on women’s working lives is largely undocumented and painstakingly under-reported in the wider world of work. This is why it truly is time for change. In proud partnership with Vichy Laboratories, we are thrilled to launch our Let’s Not Pause Summit, to start reframing the conversation around this phase of women’s lives.”
The partnership has been created to provide people with a toolkit to thrive throughout the menopause and beyond, working with some very inspiring women who will lead the conversation as well as talk first-hand about their experiences, including (but not limited to):
• Dr Shahzadi Harper – Vichy Ambassador and leading menopause doctor
• Ateh Jewel – Beauty Journalist
• Zoe Hardman – TV Presenter & Personality
• Karen Arthur – Host of Menopause Whilst Black Podcast
The summit will cover conversations that will be valuable to people approaching the menopause, experiencing the menopause (or have menopausal symptoms) as well as those who have been through the menopause. Topics will demystify the subject, educate businesses on what they need to know and how they can support their employees as well as an ‘in conversation with Zoe Hardman’ who will share details of her experience.
