Luxury fragrance portfolio L’Oréal Luxe has teamed up with Pinterest on the Luxury Fragrance Finder, a custom landing page quiz that seeks to match Pinterest users with the perfect fragrances for themselves or as gifts, with the holiday shopping season looming.
Three luxury fragrance brands are included in the quiz: Armani, Viktor & Rolf and YSL.
People taking the quiz will be prompted to narrow down their fragrance preferences by making a variety of selections related to ambiance and fashion style, and when a match is arrived at, those people will be directed to the L’Oréal Luxe ecommerce site to complete a purchase, should they desire to do so.
Pinterest said searches for spicy fragrance are up 35% year-over-year on its platform, with similar trends for earthy fragrance (34%) and floral fragrance (25%).
