This week M·A·C Cosmetics officially opened its 2,654sq ft retail space at Liverpool ONE which will serve as the brand’s new flagship location in the city.
The new store, situated at 33 Paradise Street, offers M·A·C’s product collection of cruelty-free makeup, skincare, brushes and accessories as well as a dedicated pampering station where qualified make-up artists will be on hand to provide expert advice to customers. The unique in-store experiences include a new ‘Virtual Try-On’ technology which allows customers to digitally sample an extensive range of eye and lip shades through application to photos or live videos. The technology forms part of the brand’s Covid-19 safety measures rolled out in order to protect customers and staff from transmitting the virus.
The Estée Lauder Companies-owned make-up brand announced the Paradise Street store’s opening in March, which was expected to open on 10 April, prior to the Covid-19 lockdown.
“The opening of the new MAC Cosmetics flagship is a much-anticipated event for the many brand devotees in the Liverpool area,” said Alison Clegg, Director of Grosvenor Europe, which manages Liverpool One. “This is yet another significant launch for Liverpool One to celebrate post-lockdown and MAC’s entrance is set to strengthen Paradise Street as a beauty hub in its own right, alongside Morphe and Too Faced.”
