We are delighted to share the appointment of Julietta Dexter to the role of Smart Works Chair. Starting her new role at the end of this month, Julietta will succeed Smart Works Founder Chair Juliet Hughes-Hallett who will be stepping aside and taking on the newly created role of Honorary President.
Smart Works is a UK charity that provides high-quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need. The organisation harnesses the power of clothes and confidence to allow a woman to be her best at a crucial moment in her life, giving her the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools required to succeed at interview and transform her life.

Outgoing Chair, Juliet Hughes-Hallett said:

We now have eight centres across the UK and have helped 18,000 women into employment. Hurrah. Smart Works is the most helpful creation I have been involved in. We have found the perfect chair in Julietta Dexter to take this charity forward. A passionate advocate for women, her creativity and imagination will ensure that the magic of our service lives on and will be testimony to the growing numbers of women we help. Julietta’s business acumen will keep the charity safe, whilst taking it to new levels.”
