Molton Brown, British fragrance makers, have announced the opening of a new store in the south-west London village of Clapham on Northcote Road.
“Born in 1971 in Mayfair, we’ve been creating cruelty free, distinctive luxury scents with a caring ethos ever since. Working alongside leading British brand agency, Dalziel & Pow, our award-winning new store design has the same calming, botanical and sophisticated ambience of our original 1970s hair salon, with a contemporary twist of natural rattan textures, energy conscious lighting and flourishing plants.
Embark on a journey of the senses with a discovery of our iconic fragrances and complimentary in-store services in our brand new home. Our experts are on hand to guide you through a one-to-one, private Personal Fragrance Consultation to find your new signature scent or new Home essentials. We also offer bespoke Gifting Consultations to pick the perfect gift, beautifully wrapped. While in-store, enjoy our engraving service, where we’ll personalise your precious Eau de Parfum or Toilette bottle for the ultimate treasure-forever gift.
Alongside this, we’re proud to offer earth-kind ways of shopping with our expanding Refill collection for Body, Hand and Home. Plus, our plastic bottles are made from 50% recycled plastic and you can recycle these with our ‘Return. Recycle. Reward’ scheme in-store, with 10% off your purchase as a ‘thank you’ for doing your part.
We considered every detail in making our store more planetconscious; from choosing eco-certified wood laminates, Cradle to Cradle Certified floor tiles and sustainably sourced cork for parts of the wall covering. These have all been created in facilities that use predominantly renewable energy and operate a zero-waste policy. Our furniture is British-made, we use low VOC paints and low energy LED lighting and go out of our way to reuse and repurpose – from sourcing all our props second hand to wrapping our window fixtures for each campaign and reducing waste wherever possible. Our print materials are easily recyclable and made with recycled content; they’re FSC certified and 100% PVC free.”
