Advanced Nutrition Programme has secured the UK’s first and only microbiome supplement patent for their beneficial bacteria and zinc supplement for problem and stressed skin, Skin Clear Biome.
The grant of the exclusive UK patent for Skin Clear Biome covers the emerging and innovative field of microbiome technology, and Advanced Nutrition Programme was the only British company to receive a UK patent granted with the term ‘microbiome’ listed in its title application.
Only three other patents are listed in the IPO register, two of which are from Harvard University.
