BYOMA has been recognised by TIMEÂ as one of the 2026 TIME100 Companies, earning a place among the most influential brands shaping the future of fashion and beauty.
The accolade marks a significant moment for the Glasgow‑born skincare powerhouse, which has rapidly become a global force by championing one clear idea: healthy skin starts with a strong skin barrier.
Since launching in 2022, BYOMA has redefined what accessible, science‑led skincare can look like. The brand has surpassed $770 million in sales, completed 110 external clinical trials, and captured more than 130,000 skin measurements, a level of clinical investment rarely seen at its price point.
Its Hydrating Milky Toner alone has sold 2.4 million units in a single year, cementing its status as a modern cult classic.
BYOMA’s rise reflects a broader shift in consumer behaviour. As skincare users move away from aggressive, multi‑step routines and toward barrier‑supporting ingredients like ceramides, peptides, and prebiotics, the brand has positioned itself at the centre of this movement. With distribution now spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, and backed by a recent majority investment from the Bansk Group, BYOMA is entering a new phase of global expansion.
CEO Marc Elrick points to innovations like the Bio‑Collagen Radiance Mask as a sign of what’s ahead: clinically backed formulas, visible results, and formats designed for real‑world routines. It’s a trajectory that has taken the brand from an idea born in Glasgow six years ago to a place alongside some of the biggest names in global beauty.
CEW is so proud to celebrate this milestone with BYOMA, a brand the CEW community has championed since launch. The recognition from TIME underscores not only BYOMA’s impact, but the growing importance of credibility, education, and science‑driven innovation across the beauty industry.
Congratulations to Marc and the team!
