On 15th October, CEW welcome Eileen Cavalier OBE, CEO of The London College of Beauty Therapy. Over a 20 year history working with key companies and retailers the LCBT has been at the forefront of qualifications development designed to meet the growth and expansion experienced by both sectors. Eileen will speak about the recent changes to government funding for skills training and the impact of this on the Beauty Retail and Treatments Sector. Imposed changes to structure of qualifications and how they can be delivered has resulted in demand for qualified therapists outstripping supply. Eileen will share with us how the industry can help in highlighting this to central government.
