Invest in Innovation; Fundraising for Women’s Health with Valerie

Valerie,  a wellness brand based in London specializing in perimenopausal health solutions, is launching their first funding round for investors. The company has created the UK’s first-ever liposomal shot with 11 active nutrients, designed to alleviate common perimenopausal symptoms. This innovative product is also vegan-friendly.

Valerie was founded in December 2023, with R&D spanning back over 2 years. Experienced Wellness and Retail industry Co-Founders Wizz Selvey and Olly Johnson are at the helm, and they plan to launch their first D2C product in July (2024). Their pre-money valuation is £3m, and they are looking to raise £500k pre-seed, to go to market and fuel growth.

Their single product range is designed to target as many common Perimenopausal symptoms as possible (including anxiety, bloating, brain fog, changes in sex drive, fatigue, changes in temperature, mood swings etc.), and uses a truly new and innovative formula to encapsulate 11 active ingredients into a highly bioavailable liquid Liposomal Shot format – the first of its kind (typically brands will include just 1 active ingredient in a Liposomal, whereas Valerie’s formulation has managed to incorporate 11, showing huge advances in development and innovation). They can be used as a standalone supplement, or in conjunction with HRT. NPD will follow at the end of 2024, and throughout 2025, expanding their range of natural Perimenopausal support systems.
