Category Quality Manager – Amsterdam – Competitive + relocation support

As part of a cross-functional team, you will play a vital role in managing all aspects of your category. You will act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, and as a mentor to a Quality Specialist, providing guidance and support.

Based in the company’s Amsterdam office, you will be welcomed by a friendly and dedicated Quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop deep knowledge and expertise for your product category. Stay abreast of relevant industry developments and trends
• Own and drive global processes related to your category, providing guidance and enforcing compliance to quality standards
• Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives and project teams to advance the company’s quality strategy
• Oversee all aspects of new product development for your category, from defining specifications to approving testing protocols and product trials
• Conduct technical evaluations and analysis for product and packaging designs, identifying risks and quality optimisation opportunities
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and accurate data management for all product information, specifications, and test records

Candidate Requirements:

• Science or technology degree, or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Significant R&D, Quality Assurance or Technology experience in FMCG
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Full, clean driver’s license
• Strong team playing and communication skills
